Deacon Blue to headline Glasgow's Hogmanay!

Rock in to 2010 at Glasgow's Hogmanay as Deacon Blue perform a spectacular greatest hits set at what promises to be the best New Year party of the year. Supported by rising stars Tommy Reilly, Bahookie and the winners of the 2009 Road to Hogmanay contest, Glasgow's Hogmanay will finish the year with a bang!

With over 6 million album sales Deacon Blue are one of Scotland's greatest bands with a back catalogue packed with classics including Dignity, Real Gone Kid and of course Queen of the New Year.

Tommy Reilly arrives fresh from releasing his debut album 'Words on the Floor' and hot on the heels of victory in the UK-wide Orange Unsigned Act competition last year. Bahookie meanwhile are one of Scotland's premier ceilidh bands with a reputation for energetic live performances and a unique blend of rock and traditional celtic music.

Tickets can be obtained from Ticketsoup at the SECC Box office, by clicking here or phoning 0141 564 4220.

Tickets for Glasgow's Hogmanay 2009 cost £15.00 plus booking fee and are on sale now. Demand will be extremely high. Early booking is strongly advised.
